Airport

It's been a while since I went to Kuala Lumpur International Airport@KLIA. The last time I was there, was to pick up my maid when she went back to Indonesia for a month long holiday. It was like 5 or 6 years ago. And since then, I have no reason to go there, as Low Cost Carrier Terminal@LCCT become the primary airport for my family. (AirAsia offer cheaper price mah!) But today (well, yesterday, to be precise, as I was writing after midnight), after 5 or 6 years later, here I am, at the place where Kimi Raikkonen & co used to get down from other parts of the world every year since 2001 for the Sepang F1 Grand Prix! But it was not me who took the plane. I was sending my brother who is going to Bintulu (MAS's ticket were much more cheaper this time), and my parents+aunt, plus all other stuffs that my brother might use. All in all, my brother went with a big luggage and 2 boxes. And I'm supposed to drive back the car. Hmm, always do these things!

Personally, I like airport. I love watching airplanes take of and landing. If possible, I want to stay near airport or better still, inside the departure area so that I can watch it! I still remember when I went for my first Formula 1 race back in 2007. While waiting for the qualifying race to begin, my brothers and I were actually looking to the KLIA's direction, to watch the airplanes take off and landing. Though it was not the full scene of taking off/landing, it was enough.

KLIA is much better than LCCT, as KLIA is, well, look much more like a normal airport. LCCT is like...an abnormal airport?? Hmm, don't know how to describe it. KLIA is much more spacious and the atmosphere are better.

I used to think of a scene where some fans preparing flowers or banners and waited for the arrival of their idols whenever I'm at KLIA, like what we had seen in television. It actually had cross my mind that I wanna do that too, at least once. But I just don't get it: where do they get the information of which plane/time do their idol is taking? Wasn't it supposed to be keep as a secret from them? And then this idea cross my mind too. Maybe I should work at airport, specifically, at the Immigration counter and then I will have chances to have a glimpse of them! :)

Anyway, ranting's time is over now. Time to go to bed and have a sweet dreams of meeting my idols!

Adios, my liltle brother!

2 in a day

Woke up by these news: Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson had passed away.

America's entertaiment industry has once again lost their greatest stars. 3 weeks ago, David Carradine, of Kung Fu (tv series) and Kill Bill (films) fame, was found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok.

Farrah Fawcet was a multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee, but she was famous for her Jill Munroe role in the 1976's tv series, Charlie's Angels. Ask any of your parent who had a chance of watching television programmes back in the '70s, probably they will know who is she. For me, I don't have any idea about her, but first heard of her when she announced that she was diagnosed with cancer.

Michael Jackson. I guess most of the people on the earth will roughly know about him. A performer since he was a kid, a singer who is idolised by many people, whether these people are normal people like me or people like Madonna. For me, MJ is a singer who has a good voice. I know nothing about him except that point. But I do know that he is very big, and famous, hmm, like Elvis Presley. Of course, both of them are different in a way, though.

Anyway, death is just another aspect of human's life cycle. Nobody can escape it, nor control it. When the time arrives, it's THE time.

RIP Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.

-Halo-

Halo by Beyonce

Remember those walls I built
Well, baby they're tumbling down
And they didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make up a sound

I found a way to let you in
But I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I got my angel now

It's like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin'
It's the risk that I'm takin'
I ain't never gonna shut you out

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace

You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won't fade away

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo

Hit me like a ray of sun
Burning through my darkest night
You're the only one that I want
Think I'm addicted to your light

I swore I'd never fall again
But this don't even feel like falling
Gravity can't forget
To pull me back to the ground again

Feels like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin'
The risk that I'm takin'
I'm never gonna shut you out

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won't fade away

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
Halo, halo

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace

You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won't fade away

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo

Nice song from Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat!

Ipod

Got an Ipod.
It's an 8Gb Nano.
It's a new stuff, hence I'm exploring it.
It can store songs, videos, photos, and record voices and there are some games in it.
But my main intention of owning it is to store music.
Actually I have an MP3.
But it's only 512Mb.
It doesn't store much songs.
So Ipod Nano will be good for me.
Though I can't finish all the songs at a time.
But I can select songs according to my mood.
Probably I can also store Twilight in it.
Then I can see Edward Cullen whenever I want!
Anyway, I still lurve my Creative's MP3 like I used to be!

This will be mine...soon

Waiting for a suitable time to own that one. It's a C902 from Sony Ericsson.

Size: 108x49x10.5mm
Weight: 107 gram
Camera: 5 megapixel

Read through comments from some phone users. Most said that overall, it's quite a good camera phone. Just that it's keypad is hard to, well, press. But it really doesn't matter to me, though. Cos from all those SE phones, the megapixel of C902's camera are quite good, and the most important thing is, it's not too expensive.

Spending Spree?

Research job-done.
Result checking-done.
Register courses-done.
Relative's tour guide in Penang-done.

What now?

Repel all other works and enjoy this moments!

Finally I've got my own time, time for me to do my things.

Sleep as much as I want...
Play online games...
Watching Astro...
Time with my magazines...

At this moment, these are all the stuffs that I had in my mind. It's hard to do a family oriented stuff, as parents are working while brothers are studying.

Anyway, 1 of my brother is going to Bintulu for his Diploma's studies. Hence, he's doing one final visiting before leaving to Sarawak: had dinner with my aunts yesterday when they picked me up at the railway station upon returning from Penang, and he and I will be going back to Sri Menanti to visit maternal grandma and uncles. Of course, he'll gather with his friends and teachers before leaving.

And I'll be left out again later. My parents are going to Bintulu with him without me. Sien. Nevermind. I can go there during the holiday. Haha.

These questions are those that I have never given a thought before. Anyway, the answers given are those from what I feel right now. Things and feelings change. Who knows, maybe it will be different when I really get married!

My dream wedding?
At the beach, during sunset.

How old are you?
22...(sigh)

Are you single?
yes....(sigh again)

At what age do you think you'll get married?
I don't do the maths. As long as I've got the person to fall in love with, and of course, he's in love with me.

Do you think you'll be marrying the person you are with now?
-Next- (refer question 3.)

If not, who do you want to marry?
Hmm...a tough one. All the persons that I can think about are those IMPOSIBLE to get married with!

Who will be your bridesmaid or your bestman?
Obviously my BFF!

Do you want a garden/beach or traditional wedding?
Both. Traditional is a must as we must preserve our culture. But dream wedding are important as well!

Where do you plan to go for honeymoon?
European countries.

How many guest do you think you'll invite?
Families, relatives, friends...can't give you an exact amount. Human population are expanding.

Will that include your exes?
Of course, why not?

How many layers of cake do you want?
Erm...it doesn't matter to me, as those cake doesn't taste good!

When do you want to get married? Morning or evening?
If it's the beach wedding, of course it's in the evening!

Name the song/tune you would like to play at your wedding?
Hmm...not sure..not sure...

Do you prefer fine dining or just normal spoon/fork/knife?
Fine dining.

Champagne or wine?
Champagne.

Honeymoon right after the wedding or days after the wedding?
Depends on our schedule. But if possible, right after wedding.

Money or household items?
Money. In that way, I won't have 2 or 3 rice cookers!

How many kids would you like to have?
3 will do.

Will you record your honeymoon in DVD and CD?
Probably will record it.

French Open 2009

The final was between Roger Federer and Robin Soderling. I didn't watched it live, as I can't take it...scared that Federer will lost out again. For the past 3 years, he had lost this Roland Garros game to none other than clay court king-Rafael Nadal. Here were some of the 'special' moment.

But then, Federer didnt let the incident to affect his game. He finally won the French Open!

Foodie Paradise

Went Kampar to visit my aunt. It's been a while since I last met her. Reached Kampar around 11am, went market and had some late breakfast (actually had our breakfast before we start our journey), before going to my aunt's house. Was there for 2hours++, and then went to Ipoh with my aunt's family. Reached Ipoh town at 3pm, and we thought there will be nothing left to eat for lunch, as it was already after lunch time. But the place where my dad's friend who recommended, were in full house! Though the owner own 2 shoplots, it was not enough for all those who were vying on the famous Ipoh's Nga Choy Kai and Hor Fan. As inside the shops were full, it was no way that we might get a chance. Hence, we waited for the tables outside of the shops, which was quite hot under the sun (though they did covered up, it's only a small part of it ). We had to wait for other people to finish their food by their table, so that we'll managed to get a seat. Sien. Anyway, it was not too long before we got a table. And the food we ordered came quite fast, though. So, it's not so annoyable.

Some shots of the foods:

Lunch..opps! the chicken had not arrived yet!

Things that we bought: Kaya Puff

Hong Pieah

and these....

The Rose Month-June

June.

10 of my friends are born in the month named after the Roman goddess, Juno, wife of Jupiter. Plus, Prince William of Wales was also born in this month (well, it doesn't really have any connection with this, though). Anyway, I'm not celebrating all their birthdays with all of them, just wish them through SMSes and e-mails. But I'll be celebrating a belated birthday for Kim Pei, my room mate, whose birthday is today, but we will be spending a day out in Genting. She's going with her sister tonight, so my other room mate, Yee Siew and I will meet her tomorow at Genting.

Frankly, I'm getting bored with Genting, as I've been up there two times within a month. I think there are not much to do there except entering the Theme Parks, which I think the games are quite bored. Though most adults go there to gamble, the games doesn't suits me either. I'm a bad loser. Plus, I don't have that much money to gamble. So what's the point of going to casino without gambling?

Anyway, during the last trip there, Sze Sze and I saw a Singaporean actress, who has a blog by the name Lau Char Bo. We do not know her name, but we do recognised this lady. Sze Sze looked at her as she was one of her fans, and the lady do realise that Sze Sze were looking at her with her "I saw her!!" expression, thus smile back at her. Unfortunately, we do not have camera with us, hence, just saw her continue with her journey as we waited for our friends.

So, what am I gonna do in this month? As the research thing will be wrapped up during the 8th of June, I'll be back in Penang on the 8th of June, as on the 9th, there will be a final meeting between us the assistants researcher and the head researcher. After that, I will be staying a few more days before coming back to Shah Alam, to spend my last few weeks at home with my family and relatives. Soon after that, new semester will start. I guess I'll just treasure my time at home!

Britain's Got Talent

She has a wonderful voice, pity that she lost out in the Final!
